Likewise. However I tried the Euro site on a domestic computer and it hauls the proverbial. It seems that kit and operations at work are run on a Third World basis. The pay is pretty similar too. Which reminds me; must put in another rice order.

Jadranko gave me a name to contact and this guy told me it all looked ok and he couldn't see any problems with the site itself. So for now I think I will put this subject on the side and look ahead for new marketing possibilities...

Peter--oops, I mean Glen/Ketut/Nendatjnik/Pierre-Marie/Sören (etc.)--I think the strain of planning this race is starting to show. You seem to be having an identity crisis. Is it a clever strategy to reduce protests at the race? ("I'm sorry, but all cone-penalty appeals must be submitted to 'Nendatjnik,' and he's not available right now.") Or do the names spell out some kind of code? Perhaps I should start a new forum to explore the topic further? ;-)

Sincerely,
Massimo van der Plas

Ehhhhhhhh, I don´t know. What contest.

OK, J it will be three riders chosen by you the racers. These reps will solve eveything with the contest co-ordinator. Who will be the riders representatives? well it´s up to you the racers. Put names here or mail me.

My new Radikal trucks are great. It´s the 2006 model, they're not on the market yet, but I know some people that know some people that robb some people.

Hey guys, I am starting to read this site more often now. Keith Hollien & I ran cones today. I did all right for an old fat man. LOL

I am looking forward to Paris- I talked with Jani last week and we are both excited about the race.

Please note that this is not a RADIKAL against the world thing.

Last year there were a number of racers that ventured over to the states for our functions, including the worlds in Moro. This year I decided to reciprocate. It's that simple. You guys are great and what you are doing merits as much of our attention as possible.

This is a list of racers planning to attend (in the RADIKAL storm):

Keith Hollien
Bobby Mandarino
Chris Barker
Jason Mitchell
David Hackett
Steve Olson
Richie Carrasco
Kenny Mollica
Mark McCree

4 wives of racers will also be with us.

We will all be on the same plane to Paris from Miami

Noah Heinle and Gary Fluitt are making it there on their own.

As I posted on Hackett's site on NCDSA... I will give any racer who beats ALL of us $500.00 USD cash. That's for each race. Plus there will be a set of trucks for each race to be given out at the discression of the promoters.

Stockholm is also on our agenda and I will be posting the list of racers on that forum.

Again, thanks to those who made this opportunity a reality--Jani and his group- It will be a lot of fun.

All riders and family has a 20% discunt on the hotel we put up on our site, just don't book online, book by phone. Hotel Malmen is right where you wanna be at a cost of 695 SEK per night and room. Two guys to a room is less then 350 a piece. 1€=9.07 SEK gives us a cost per person of 38,31 €. I pay more for IBIS in Paris and no breakfast. This is the best deal on the tour, well except Gruningen where you can stay for free.

But then again, for all you players out their, Swedish women are very friendly, put on your charm and give a it go, oh Nastasja, same goes for the boys, but then again you and Marcus may already have it sorted out after Köln. I got it on film, remember...mohahahahaha

790 SKR = about 84 EUR

They also offered rooms without a window for less, but I wanted a window, so I can jump out after loosing to Stride.

Let the wife go shopping in Stockholm while you race and it will be an expensive trip.
Just joking.

Honestly I think it is a really good deal considering you are close to everything. See you, chris

Which airport would be the nearest to the comp?
If I book The Malmen Hotel online how do I get the discounted price for my room?

Thanks,

The cheap airway.

When you book the Malmen hotel make sure you say you are there for the European Championships in Slalom Skateboarding and that you get the price we have annonced (here)

Chris, my wife and I will be in the fair city of Stockholm in July for the comp.
Booked into the Malmen, as suggested and cannot wait to see everyone, although I am hoping to see people in June in Gruningen beforehand.

Booking

Post by Claude Regnier » Thu May 26, 2005 9:04 pm

If things go well. I will know by the middle of next week if I'm going or not. Is it easy and how much will it cost to get back and forth from the airport to the hotel if there is still space?

Also are all the events close enough that you don't need a vehicle?

Thanks

From Airlanda Airport (used by all airlines except Ryan Air) it's 40 min by bus (for approx $10). The train takes 20 minutes, but the price is around $25.
Claude Regnier wrote:Are all the events close enough that you don't need a vehicle?
The different sites are not really close, but there is no need for a car. That would only be more trouble (finding your way and parking close to the hotel, parking attendants are really working hard in Stockholm). You should be able to get around without a car (using underground and buses). It's even worth taking a taxi!

Hello all,
Interesting fact, USA will come with the strongest and second biggest team.
Remember, there is a nation comp. The points of the three best placed pros, three best placed amateurs, best placed women.

Teams so far:
Sweden 18 registered
USA 14
Germany 9
Switzerland 8
France 5
UK 3
Latvia 2
Italia 1 But that’s all they need.

Where are Norway, Danemark and Finland our brothers ??? Holland, Belgium ???
