Let me see if I can get a answer of the disribution of the prize purse of 12*110€*0,75=990€
There are three events, is it 1.2.3 in each disipline or 1.2.3 overall, I need to know seince if I go I will be missing the Giant. I hope someone could pay the decent curtesy of informing me and everybody else.

Overall: 990€ ???
Three events: 330€ each event ???

It is an opening party. The party is taking place in one of Paris most famous and Poshest night clubs, between Trocadero and Champs Elysee, so we didn't have the choice of the date. And what about an open bar for all of the riders? ;)

Did I miss the fineprint?

I thought a deadline meant no more registrations after that point. It's fine in all different ways that you can enter the race at raceday, but why bother with a deadline at first then?

Perhaps the message to the race organisers that a 4 day event is too long came through finally?

Why is the party the night before the qualifications? Is it for the racers?

Why is this a main if it's only 10 pros?
Who will be setting the courses this year, will it be as open as last year?
Where will the GS be held? Any news?

Are you a pro if you pay for everything yourself or does that make you an enthusiast? Pehaps we should change categories until there are some pros?

Sign up and payment online, until May 21, add 5€.
Sign-up and payment, after May 21 or on race day, add 10€.

There are very few slots remaining in Amateur class, so make sure you pay to reserve your place.

It's about one hour drive from Zurich and cheaper than flying directly to Zurich.

Is anyone going to (May 20 race) Uster from Paris then back to Paris? What days are you travelling? We may end up renting a car if it's too much $$$!

Our accomodations are booked in Paris from the 23 till the 30th (check-out).

You can e-mail or PM mb or me.

J-Rad maybe we could stay a few days with you and a few days with Chris as to not be at either for too long since you were both kind enough to offer :) .

Donald let me know when you plan on leaving Paris for germany after the PWCS?

Didn't think travelinside of europe was so much $$$$$ LOL

The schedule is on the website for quite long but the info wasn't perhaps not announced here, sorry.
http://event.riderz.net/pswc2006/index. ... me&lang=us

If you think to arrive late and not to be present on time for registration sign form,
take care to complete the full registration process (with payment) and warn us by email about your late arrival.

Stephano:
Is it possible for you to arrive late in the morning to be sure you'll have time for registration confirmation, training and etc..
But if you can be on the race site at 14:00 (and not at the train station) it should be OK but I cannot guarantee you'll have a real training.

Dear all,
we would be pleased to know (Luca and I; forgive me it was already written somewhere) the detailed schedule for the event in Paris.
In fact despite from our efforts we do not think that we'll come for a four days (!) event. I think that it sounds reasonable for us to take the train on Friday morning (we should arrive at 14:00) and be back in Italy on Sunday night.
Could you help us?
Thanks.

Hey Klangster, it's sad for the Swedish nation...you know that it's a 4 days event for months, sorry nothing changed!
but I know we'll have at least a few brave vikings.

The schedule is not online because we prepare some news surprises and prefer to wait till everything is for sure ;)
but know that we're waiting for you on thursday morning to sunday end of the afternoon.
(and hope for our english friends the earlier they can!)

More informations for our international friends:

All the races are held on the Trocadero slopes or just next to it: about 200 meters for
the Giant Slalom (still authorization issues but still hoping).
It's a great area inside Paris, very touristic, but expensive (to sleep and to eat).
It's why you'll find food and drink at a fair price on the contest site (and the Racer Pack include a meal a day).
To sleep, you can find an hotel list on the website,
http://event.riderz.net/pswc2006/index. ... er&lang=us
But perhaps you can try to look at that too:
http://www.3ducks.fr/
It's not too far from the Trocadero (just a few metro stations away) and quite
cheap (hostel but perhaps you can have small rooms, or we can erhaps organize some special racers rooms).

Public transportation are easy and affordable in Paris.
Here's a website that can be useful to know (itinery but informations too)
http://www.ratp.info/informer/anglais/index.php

The fastest and quite cheap way to come to Paris from CDG Airport is
probably the regional city train, we call it "R.E.R". and the B line is going to the two main Airports.
But depending where you want to go some buses can be cheaper.
Informations about transportations :
http://www.ratp.info/informer/anglais/aeroports.php

Our website is available in english, it should be automatic depending on your browser settings (or click on the little US flag)

Sad news from Sweden or good depends on how you take it. Lack of information has put off ticket reservations and now the tickets are WAY to expensive plus hotel has made what first looked like a very strong Swedish presence to be pretty much nobody.

...but then again with all events in Europe this summer who cares?

Europe
Dusseldorf 2 april Basic
Paris 25-28 may Main
Hannover 3-5 june Prime
Gruningen 10-11 june Prime
Riga (European Championships) 1-2 july Main
Stockholm Straight to hell 15-16 july Basic

Patrick, the earliest Thursday train from the UK arrives at the Gare du Nord at 11:00am.

If the Am and Pro GS couses are the same, then could I (and any other UK racers) possibly take our run either during or at the end of the Pro GS race? In other words, slightly later on the Thursday.

Not too concerned about results, but would very much like to take part.

Hi everybody.
Sorry not much time to see what happened here

But know that as we accept to move the competition to the last week end of May instead of the first of June, the contest instead of 3 days became a four days event.
Thursday is a work-free day in different countries (like Sweden where the even have school holidays from the wednesday to the monday)
so it's a great occassion to have more time to do the contest.

The dates didn't change and the giant slalom is to be on Thursday as said before.
We can consider that Pro will race in the beginning afternoon, but please be there to validate your registration at noon (if you cannot be there earlier in the morning).

Friday will be a qualification day, especially for Amateurs but Pros too.
Saturday and Sunday , Tight and Special finals (Am& Pros)

The Slide contest will be held on Saturday, probably at the end of the day / evening.

Four days will also secure the race even if it rain a whole day.

Subscriptions are about to begin on the website:
http://event.riderz.net
If you notice some problems or mistake on the website, please contact : flz @ riderz.net

You can also contact me if you have some questions : vincent @ riderz.net

Registration and payment deadline: May the 1st.

Jani,

Is there a schedule of events as yet? I am expecting to book Eurostar tickets for myself and Stride tomorow, so naturally don't want to arrive after an event in which I am entered has taken place.

How about this for playing Devil's Advocate: Get those dedicated Pros to Paris early, run them early and get something in the bag before the weather kicks in. Let the Ams amble up, have a bash, have a tumble and have a beer.

Stefano: You better don't miss Paris! I guess You will be a strong contender, this year, having trained all winter with Luca. I noticed Your GoForIt-attitude in Antibes last year.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it. The only point is that only with my "GoForIt-attitude " I won't go that far. I will have to be two seconds faster....Moreover we did not train during winter except doing couples of pumps for the Olympics (it was indoor at the beginning). Now we would like to start as soon as the weather will be dry at 8:00 pm. Hopefully soon.

Anyway I gonna try to be faster. We will update on this issue at the end of the season. You know, I'm pretty old, but may be not toooooo old.
;-)
BTW, concerning Paris I will do all my best to be there. It would be a dream.
If I won't be there you will find me elsewhere during the season. In fact I will start with the race on April 22nd in Switzerland.
Enjoy your training,

The dates will not change (to another weekend if that's what you meant). However I'm not sure about the schedule yet. We intend to use the Thursday for Giant slalom racing on a street outside of Trocadero, but we haven't got the authorization for that particular street yet.

Another idea we've had is to use the Thursday for some of the Am qualification, to reduce the number of skaters/runs on the other days.
