I'm pleased to announce that effective tomorrow (January 7), Dan Gesmer of Seismic has assumed ownership of the 3dm Sport skateboard and wheel business. Seismic and 3dm have demonstrated unmatched innovation, performance, and commitment to this sport, and there's no better choice than Dan to continue in this tradition. So you can expect continued availability of the Avalon, Avila and Cambria wheels, 3dm/Bahne Banshee decks, cones, etc, integrated with the Seismic product line and numerous innovations yet to come.
While I'm quite optimistic about growth possibilities for this sport, especially in the global markets, it's become increasingly difficult for me to divide attention between two different businesses, and I need to devote full attention and resources to Surveyor Corp. In any case, the Gordon clan look forward to a continued involvement with slalom, as there are two junior World Championship titles to defend *again* this season, and we hope to attend a couple of races in Europe this summer plus whatever we can attend stateside.
Please join me in congratulating Dan on this acquisition, and wish him the best with his growing business.
Howard
