being kind of a slalom newbie since i have only been back at it since the 2001, La Costa race and living remotely i learn things on my own and from e-coaches. i will call Cambrias "hill tamers" put a set of these on your board and there aren't too many hills that can't be controlled. get a bunch of different duro's. as your time gets better try going to harder wheels.

George - I really like the Cambria's as well. Traction's been an issue at every FCR race, starting with Donner last year, and I feel a lot better when attached to the road. I don't think the racers have realized it yet, but on the steeper hills where traction is an issue, I believe the Cambria's will prove to be faster than Avalons - that was certainly the case for me in the La Costa GS.
