Little Gus saw that pic and thought Janis had developed a new slalom technique.

He practised for days, eventually trying out his new racing move at Brands Hatch:

Yes we have a great photographer on the Pirate Parisian races, Do you know his real name David ? B&W pictures are made with a chamber, you can see the incredible details piqué in the backgrounds.

This is my favorite personal skate photo of the year.
The first course of the 80 cones race in Zürich.

What makes it so special for me is that my parents are watching in the background ( just under my left arm). It was the first time they watched me skate slalom in 25+ years and the very first time at a slalom race for my mother. They were stoked about the atmosphere at the race site.

I know Flounders since he's the one that shoots those shots from the ground up....laying down right next to the cone......scares the SHIT out of ya sometimes!

I'm guessing Fadells is the one with the GF imprinted on it? (heh heh)

That downhill blur shot at the top is a good one too

In May 2005 I was laid up after having knee surgery. I was totally bumbed that I missed the Red Clay Cup.. My teamates were there representing. What really made my day was that my bro Joe I wore our colors at the contest in my place. That is why this photo is one of my favorites. You ROCK Joe I. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws.
