Helmets and Slalom

Post by Kevin M. Gamble » Tue Apr 19, 2005 5:36 pm

It's just my personal opinion, but, seems to me that as we grow our grass roots sport, one good way for us to get "noticed" by the mainstream media, local police departments, and insurance companies is to have a few serious head injuries to call attention to slalom. This is not the kind of negative publicity we need.

Wear your helmet, if not for yourself, then for your spouse, kids, friends, and slalom skateboarding.

Sorry, this is just meant to be a joke, not for actual use.
