As the King Pin snapped on my front truck. I flew forward hit the asphalt and bounced off my left shoulder. One of the kickflippers who had gathered there to watch me run cones. Exclaimned. " OOOHHH MMMYYYY GOD DUDE ARE YOU OKAY. " At that point I started to laugh. Sore but not down. Eddy Texas Outlaw.

And what brand front truck might that be that you'd break a kingpin while slaloming? ;-)
Hope your shoulder is ok Eddy. Time for shoulder pads, talk to Fluitt and Dong.

I had replaced the kingpin on a Tracker RT-S in order to place thicker bushings on it, basically I attempted a longer kingpin. The slam, munch, eat , splat looked worse than what it really was. Eddy Texas Outlaw.

When asked why I couldn't avoid those trees.

Post by John Gilmour » Sun Mar 07, 2004 4:19 am

I was asked after my accident teleboarding how I was able to miss one section of trees yet still plowed into yet another section of trees, instead How come I couldn't aim myself through the gap to safety.

"Missed it , by THAT much"
