Just for the record, the streak continues!

In 1978, Bobby Turner sold his first Summerski in South Carolina to . . . me.
In 1984, Rick Howell sold his first Ick Stick in South Carolina to . . . me.
And now in 2003, Chicken sold his first Pocket Pistol in South Carolina to . . . me.

For the first time in 13 years, yesterday saw a new slalom skateboard racing deck in my house: a 29.25" full cut away, medium flex Stealth Pocket Pistol. Chicken drilled it for a 20.75" wheel base for a high camber (just like I like it,) and I am completely thrilled with the finish and visual impact of this board. With the "dice" pattern underneath and a flawless griptape application on top, I really don't know whether to ride this board or hang it on the wall and just admire it from a distance?

I'm also happy with the delivery time. The check was mailed February 6 and it got here by Express Mail on Saturday (March 15.) That's less than five weeks. Not bad. The bad news to report is it will probably be a while before it's set up to ride. I want to wait until this board is "completely brand new" from end to end. That means getting an offset truck, either an RT-X or Seismic for the front and new Avalons or Cambrias with top quality bearings. (No Avilas for this board. When the time comes they are going on my full nose Summerski and maybe my H-Bomb.) All that will take money and a little more time. I will have to say, though, that having Deck's deck in the house certainly motivates me to do what's necessary to get the goods.

To paraphrase what ur13 said yesterday, it's nice to now skate in the 21st Century on a 21st Century board.

Pelle I have to agree with you I also bought a Brown Bomber Pocket Pistol. The board is definately very fast. I have been using it on tight slalom. AYE CARAMBA ES MUY CALIENTE. Eddy Texas Outlaw.
