Crossfire vs S-Camber for TS?

Post by Kevin Dunne » Sat Jan 28, 2006 5:52 am

I'm in the market for a new TS board and I'm looking for feed back from anybody who has ridden the PS Crossfire or the Crossfire S-Camber...or both. How do they compare? What did you like or dislike? Thanks, Kevin

I've been riding a Roe Unlimited for over a year and just rode my new Crossfire S-Camber today. The biggest difference I noticed is that the S-Camber is a lot quicker turning but requires more articulation of the ankles, knees and hips to put energy into it to pump it fast.

The S-Camber was setup narrow wheelbase with Indy 109mm's front and back with 15deg positive wedging front and 10deg negative rear. That was a little whippy in the back and I've put a Seismic 30deg on the back with 7deg of negative wedging that I'm gonna try out tomorrow. I think it's gonna take some experimenting to get the truck setup happenin' (15deg may be too much on the front) but my initial impression is that this is an excellent TS deck and I'm glad I took the chance on it.
