I'm in MS, about to get this very board from Ricky for the PP race in 30 minutes or so! Sweet!

PS. I couldn't get the board set up quick enough to race in the PP event. It was delivered after the first run (there were 3 total and I ended up riding a 17 inch plank (R)). The Roe Bullet's all drilled and set now for the Luna race. Everyone who tried it liked it.

Just like last year....a Roe shows up one day before the race. The big difference from last year is that there are some serious competitors here. Richie, Noah, Chris B, Gary F, Keith and others. The course is about the same as last year. A softish longish board is a plus. There're still 7-footers at the end of the course, so too long of a board is no good.

I'll take pictures.

Later.

Here's the same board (as in the very board Roe built and overnighted to Jackson) in DC after the MS action.

Works good with Seismics.
The "Bunny" is there (on all my boards) for JG.

Looks beautiful! The mirror-like finish brings tears (of joy) to my eyes. Is it the raw beauty or the just glare from the shop lights? I can't tell anymore. I'm simply blinded by the light refraction on many a board that will be in DC this weekend. You know who you are!

I didn't realize Vlad was sponsored by Playboy, but I'd love to get that sponsorship here in the Seattle shop! Hook me up, bro!

Eddy's Bullet

Post by Steve Hopper » Thu Apr 29, 2004 3:11 am

Alright, Eddy. Your humble RoeRacing board builder beats the clock once again!

The Bullets are flying! On a plane to DC, that is. Caught up in some Crossfires as well. They'll achieve total impact with their target by noon on Thursday.

Find Vlad when you get to the Gathering and he'll have it for you.

Enjoy!

Steve

I've never seen so much carbon in one room! I have like 200 Roes and Insects in my bedroom.

Eddie, I found your Bullet to be a bit stiff for me after about 14th or 15th run. You can have it.

Steve and Gareth, thank you for all the hard work and 15-hour days that made this crazy pre-Gathering productin run possible!
