Travel tips - Buses to Chieti / Pescara

Post by Jani Soderhall » Mon Jul 01, 2024 6:19 pm

Usually there are two stops in Rome, first at the airport (FCO) and/or the bus stop "Rome, Tiburtina" which is more centrally located.

In general all have incredibly low prices, ranging from 8 to 16 € (one way), but even if it was double that it would still be a good deal.
As far as I know all buses are modern, air conditioned, really nice long distance buses.

PRONTO BUS ITALIA
A company with plenty of departures:

DI CARLO BUS
This is a bus company I have used earlier. At this time I can only find buses from the airport (FCO) directly to Pescara, and although they drive very close to Chieti they do not seem to stop there.

FLIXBUS
Flixbus does stop in Chieti, but for the 9th of September, there's only one departure from the airport, at 17:20

Departures from "Rome, Tiburtina" goes at either 13:00 or 18:30. Travel time 2h15 at the incredible price of 8€ !
