Schedule of events : 2009 Seismic Skate Systems Worlds

Here is the schedule of events for the Seismic Skate Systems 2009 World Championships:

Friday July 17th: Giant Slalom at Mosier Tunnels -- Columbia River Scenic Highway Trail -- Start practice no later than 0900 Start racing 1000

Saturday July 18th: Hybrid Slalom on Columbia Street Hood River. Start practice no later than 0900 Start racing 1000

Sunday July 19th: Tight Slalom on Oak Streek Hood River. Start practice no later than 0900 Start racing 10000


Previous announcements with qualifying on July 18th (Hybrid and Tight), and Finals on July 19th (Hybrid and Tight) should be ignored.

Pat can you post what the cross streets are for the start of the TS/HY races and what the parking requirements will be? Park at bottom of courses or top, or just wherever we can downtown?

Also - the official worlds site lists practice starting AT 8:30, is that now 9?

If you checked the weather the last couple of days, Hood was in the mid 70's. Today broke out to a 94 degree day, much hotter than before.

The parking lot shown is a pay-to-park lot. It has very limited space on Saturday (due to shared use with the Saturday Market). Sunday the lot is available.

Otherwise, park where you can find spaces, but obviously not on the closed roads where the race is being held.
