Here's a new thread for anyone looking for travel advice or travel partners. Me for example!

I'm starting to plan for my trip to Brixlegg and found that Munich seems to be a close enough and suitable airport. And flights are not so expensive.

- Donald, is Munich a good choice?
- Fellow Frenchmen, others, anybody care to join and share the car rental over the weekend?

Paris - Munich, with Lufthansa

Thursday 20:th
6.50 (too early...)
8.50
11.05 - 12.45 Mid day, allows us to arrive before the evening

Sunday 23:rd
20.50 - 22.25 As late as possible back. I need to be back on Sunday.

128 euros

Paris - Munich, with Air France:

Thursday 20:th
07.45
10.20 - 11.55 Preferred choice for me.
15.35 - 17.10
18.20
20.25

Sunday 23:rd
20.45 - 22.30

125 euros

Hotel:
Donald, is there any specific hotel that you advice we stay in?

follow this link:www.tirol-pur.at
search for villages reith or brixlegg don't choose the "alpenhof" in brixlegg

you know that the race(tight) starts friday morning,do you?
pros start at 12.00 noon.
munich is an hour by car to brixlegg
follow the autobahn signs to innsbruck(austria) once you are in austria exit kramsach, turn left over two bridges and voila-on the left han side you will see the cradle and straight forward you enter brixlegg.

I'm thinking more to arrive on Wednesday (19th of July) in Deutschland and/or Austria.
Is there some others people that would go from Munich to Brixlegg on Wednesday?
Perhaps we can arrange something together? Rent a car or fill a free room.

I 'm thinking about leaving on monday or tuesday.

I arrive in Munich at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19 and fly back to the USA on Tuesday, July 25. I have reserved a compact/economy rental car at the Munich airport, but if someone would like to share the expense a bit, I could try to upgrade to a larger car. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Is there any one place where a lot of the riders will be staying? I haven't yet booked any lodging--Donald has assured me he'll help--but I thought it might be good to stay near some other racers, just to be sociable, so I've been looking around a bit online. "Haus Jud" in Reith im Alpbachtal looks nice, and relatively inexpensive.

Looking forward to meeting many of the people I've only seen online.

yesss Fred ! the Alpenhof rocks !!!!!!!!! :-) its 5 minutes walking to the Cradle Skatepark.
they have a diskothek in-house ! But the last time i was there it was closed !!!:-)

We should go to that diskothek for the Heiko and Vinzz Celebration ? Even if its closed, we can ask for open it, because there would be lots of skaters !
