Outlaw your ASS!!!!! June 13, 2009

Post by Flavio Badenes » Sun May 17, 2009 3:39 pm

June 13th 2009,

A FUN contest, mainly aimed at the Dutch skaters, but of course everybody else is welcome.
It is a one day event, no crap just skating and having fun. There will be all kinds of races for beginners and girls.

We are aiming at getting the Dutch kids hooked on competing and later on at competing on an international level.

What a fun day we had.
Good weather, good vibes and a good contest.
Not too many people though but that didn't spoil the fun we had.

For the kids it was their first contest.
And it was good for them to feel the presure of a real contest with a timing system.

The girls are aiming on beating Flavio in the future.
They were even talking about trying out the starting ramp to have more speed at the first part of the course. Iris had a run of 15.6 seconds (if I recall right), my daughter Gwyn a 16,8 and I skated only a poor 16,9 seconds.
Although on a tougher course I'm already beaten by two of the girls.

And they started skating only 8 weeks ago......

Here some pictures.

Yes!! you are right! because faster than you they already are, Cyril!!!!! :-)

What a great day!
Watch out for Bart and Ernst, they are faster than ever. The girls are fast indeed and Bo and Izzy will kick ass in the future.
