When to criddle..sometimes not at the speed robbing gate..sometimes the cone before- so you don't skid (automatically lose .2) and have a better line to run the next section.

Usually early in the course is a better gamble (no pun intended Kevin) because you a longer way to have that tiny bit of speed add up to at least .1 or .2 savings. But you have to be able to run pretty clean.

Criddling is best done by people who can confidently run clean. They can compare times as they move through the brackets better if the only cones hit were the ones they criddled so they can see if it was worth it.
