hey ramon

i remember you eyeing those trucks in hannover already, you showed interest and i was all for it to give you some trucks, but not for free.at least the material had to be paid.
after hannover all the posts i read were not very positive regarding the truck, only criticism, sometimes i think childish and unfunded.

the you speak to frank at the worlds about the trucks and he told you that you have to ask me.
you could have done that in brixx, well you didn't.

all the trucks we had are gone.
gone to the right guys, frank followed my decisions on that. and he told you something else, which you surely remember regarding your previous comments.
being as good as you are you surely don't need those trucks.some others might...

Well, the only things I mentionned were about the width (the front truck is a bit too wide) and the industrial design, but which has the reason that in this way the production costs can be kept low. I understand that.

And yes, I've been racing very good on my Tracker/Airflow combo, so I guess there's no need for changing my setup. The only reason why I wanted to test your trucks is curiosness and the kind gesture of giving you a proper feedback.

However, I guess this is not really required.

Have fun and some good results on your super turny trucks. We understand each other.

I must agree, the "new" version seems stronger : thicker kingpin going deeper in the baseplate... I mounted it on my GS board and took it for a cruise, all I can say is that it turns in a dime, very impressive !!!
I'll give the truck an intensive training at the trocadero tuesday night and I'll give you my impressions...

thumbs up for the DDof crew!

the rears are in production
about 10 will be given(again) to a chosen group of teamriders to overgo the changes and improvements jason gave to his signature truck.once all is approved/rnd'ed by the crew those will be available too.
we are speaking about a month on time to be spent on the new rear truck before it hits the market.

OK, yesterday night I've set up my GOG truck on my giant slalom deck ( around 34" ).

Front : GOG + regular 86A avalon + 15° wedge
Rear : Airflow + regular 80A avalon + 10° de-wedge

We set up the pro tight slalom ( 40 cones at 6 feet and a half ) on the Trocadero slope...
As expected the truck, is REALLY turny and very safe, I couldn't imagine to do "so well" with my giant board in a tight slalom !!!!!

It's all good, the truck works well for me, so it will for you I guess !

hey fred that's the right board with the right truck 6 foot courses are no problem with that board and a gog in front
make sure you throw away the rear our rears are available soon.
you know how the front works now,but the rear is a bit different and by far the best rear truck on the market.

HI Fred

Is a 15° Wedging not to much? I skate tight with maybe 3-5° and not more because the truck is turning enough. Ok I do not use a 34" for that but .....

But when it´s going good for you it´s fine. Thanks for your support. See you in May!!!

I'm bringing some back from Germany after the Paris race. We'll be back on June 5th if anyone wants to pre-book or prepay in Canada.

We only have so much room. If you need them sooner and want to prepay we will make every effort to get some here before we leave in May.

Today I got the second round of GOG front trucks. A slight changing on the base allows now bigger wheels. Black with Gold print on are available from now on. I have enough in stock at www.concretewave.de
In europe they are 149€ per piece. Shipping inside germany is for free and in europe it´s 10€. Switzerland the shipping is 30€ I´m sorry but they are not EU. Shipping to the US is 30€

Well, as far as I felt comparing the two trucks, a GOG front turns with less withstand, thus smoother. If you look at the surface where the bushing sits, the GOGs are totally even whereas the Radikals how a carved bushing seat which affects the bushing while turning.

On a GOG truck you could even use PVD bushings - the bushing geometry doesn't really matter as long as you make it fit on the kingpin. There's nothing that disturbs the bushing from being compressed.

So now I just have one problem left if Concretewave still has the front truck in stock and that is to find a rear GOG.

I'm not unhappy with my current setup, Splitfire in the front and Airflow OS in the back mounted on a "Fox" with Hotspots, but...

(thanks Ramon luve your board)8-)
