New deck for Dave,or Goldylocks and the three decks

I have been wanting a wood deck with a kick.Something to replace my Roe S-Camber which is small for me now.I liked the Tod Oles shape but it was to big for me. I liked the new Roe deck with kick, but I didn't need the nose that big,and I still liked the shape of my P.P.foam GS Hybrid 32 in.So while on Craigs list I ran across a guy named Andy Bell who made Longboards ,dropthroughs, wedge nose right here in Minneapolis. He is hooked up some with Sub Sonic and as his own company called Missionbell.Got together with him and after some trail and error, he came up with this 30 inch concave wood ,fiber glass board . It is really light and is perfect for me.20'' 20.5 W.B .1: the center core is triaxial fiberglass

2&3 :on each side of the core is a sheet of 3mil baltic birch

4&5 : the top and bottom are then covererd in biaxial fiberglass and then
the whole thing goes into the 12ton press for 4-hours.

no glue was used at all it's all west systems epoxy. So there ya go kind of a mini Tod oles minus the S. Later Dave

Justin,

Bad news...

Doc says to hang the slalom up for this year...He's keeping my blood pretty thin
to avert anymore clotting issues. He's a cyclist so he's letting me slide on the bike riding...
NO RACING or riding alone though... Whew!!! at least I can do 2 thing I love,
If anyone needs me I'll be on the golf course :-)

Good Luck out in ColOrAdO

The wife and I are planning on visiting everyone in NC at worlds....I'll be team bearing cleaner.... hehehe

Later, Tod

(Dave, thanks for the highjack air time)

Sorry to hear that you can't race this season - it sucks, but better to be alive!!!!!

I am assuming that you are spending a lot of time on the golf course

Look forward to catching up with you in NC

Good to here from you!!
Very glad to be alive, thank you... the tough guy bravado could of cost me everything...

YES the golf course is my haven as of late... Kara even drives the kart :-)
I'll be on my bike this weekend trying to get some fitness back (golfing is not so aerobic) :-)

I've seen you in quite a few photo albums as of late, training the young hessians I
assume?? hehehehe

Live it up! you're only getting older........
