Wheelbase for custom deck

Post by Timmy Fredriksson » Fri Aug 04, 2006 2:25 pm

I am going to order a custom deck from the local boardshop, I have the shape all complete. But I wonder which wheelbases I should put in the board? I want it functional for ts and hybrid. I was thinking either 18,5" and 19,5" or 19" and 20". How does that sound? Maybe I could drill 18,5", 19,5" an 20"? Give me tips, pointers and suggestions, everything is welcome.

These guys doesn´t usually build slalomboards, they just build wicked light longboards. They have some suggestions on wheelbase, and those will probably work. I just wanted to get some ideas from guys that race a lot, and have tested some boards.
