It's only a matter of time until snowboard manufacturer Burton comes along. Here's an early (homemade) prototype, shaped out of a Burton board.
They guy in the picture commented: "Cutting it out of a Burton snowboard was cheaper than getting a regular slalom deck. It also allowed me to select the thickness in the front vs the rear of the board as snowboards are thicker under the bindings then further back."
