Don't worry Donald; you'll get your outfit back soon.

Nice board! What would a deck like that cost to have made?
FUN-is the bottom line!

Hey Spike, I'm pleased that you like the deck. Donald has really pulled-out all the stops, producing a machine with hi-tech materials in a superfast time. If you shoot him a mail at peek-a-boo@arcor.de he can give you the low-down on costs, design and ETA.

Donald will be over in the UK for the Cadwell race, so it might be worth having a chat as to what he might be bringing this way. He should have a car load of goodies that will be very tempting to both rookie and connoisseur alike.

The above deck is a classic surf shape, styled around the UK-made Benjyboard Sablosky of the 70s, but with a bit of the Civ slalom tecnicality dialled in. It is only available as a custom deck at the moment, but is very similar in layout and dimensions to the GOG and Civ models so it may be worth checking out the latter product also.

Here's it's heritage, as featured in the British Skate Museum:

Tip to tail concave. Length 32.25." Width 9" shoulder/ 7.5" tail. Multiple wheelbase 19"/ 20"/ 21".

Pavel. Damnglorious AngloGerman produkt.

Did you send Donald a PM?

Anyway, I will be speaking to him tommorow, I will give him a nudge.

Generally the decs go for 95-105 in the UK, for standard shapes.

i'm just trolling around today and thought i'd pop in on the Pavel thread to see what's up...

Ya gotta love it..

hey Spike....remember this post on Gecko?

"Due to recent chats with other manufacturers, I'm definately in for one too! Sent you a private message Martin."

Spike.

Funny thing about custom gear VS factory made gear....the maker doesnt HAVE to make one for anybody who wants to buy one.

God, i love niche markets
