Upgrades

I was wondering do I have to sell my DS 107 in order to buy a splitfire pro or can you upgrade an older truck?

as another good upgrade that costs only $2 and some elbow grease.........buy a delrin pivot cup from JimZ and shave a little off the height. then press it into your baseplate. put some grease, not lube, into the inside of the delrin cup and slide the hanger in with the bottom bushing in without the kingpin. you may have to shave the inside of the delrin cup a tiny bit because some are tight fit. that's a good thing though because after some riding it breaks in and rides super smooth with no flop. now put the kingpin in as well as the top bushing and nut.....BOOM. you now have a zero flop pivot. i did this to both of my red splits and the turning and reaction time is crazy!
