Splitfire Pro

Just went to the AP website and saw the Pros with the spherical hanger bearing.

What's the feedback from people who've ridden them?

I got one of the 90 Splits with the bearing in the kingpin hole a couple of days ago. I spaced it out to 110mm, added 20 degrees of wedge and mounted it on the front of an Axe III set at 22" wheelbase. I took it out for the first time today. I was able to run 6" cones with it. I'm dropping the wedging back down to 15 degrees and see how it behaves. I'm almost ready to put my Radikal for sale that's on my Axe II and slap another one of these Splitfires on it. The combo of the bearing and the added cutaway has turned it into a very turny truck.

Have had the R3 with the bearing now for almost 4 weeks. Have tried the UB and the Randall 60* baeplate. I like the R3 and the UB and put them on my AXE I @ 20* after finding the sweet spot on an E Series PP upfront @ 15*. Great truck.

As good as Splitfires might be, I doubt that they allow you to run cones spaced at 6 INCH CENTERS.
