thanks Adrian!
i haven´t been here on ISSA for a while.
that´s also because i focused on downhill lately.

yeah, i had a knee injury after a miniramp contest. not sure how it happened exactly. (crashed into a bmxer at some point, but it might also be that i´m getting to old for pogo dancing (drunken) on the after party.)

i had a patella luxation (the kneecap shortly tilted to the outside tearing the capsule).
the good thing: no tendons, cartilage or the meniscus were damaged.
the bad: they made a "lateral release": cutting the capsule on the outside and stiching tiny folds on the inside so that the kneecap is centered again.
pretty bloody thing.
i had athroscopic surgery a 2nd time to flush out the knee again after a fat haematoma built up and then had this haematoma sucked out a couple of days later again.

i can walk around without crutches but have to take it easy untill the swelling is gone entirely.
i can only bend the knee to 90° at the moment but hopefully will be back again fully in a month or so. generally i have to take it easy for the next weeks (which i´m pretty good at!).

i use the spare time to do some web stuff like setting up ...

... the brandnew US & CAN SPREADSHIRT SHOP which is fully integrated in my site.

european customers now have to click on the note that directs them to the european shop (shorter ways of delivery and slightly different assortment).

not too difficult i hope.

cheers
alex

Alex, the website's looking good. Always like to see these things saturated with pictures and information.

As for your creaky old self, get well over the Winter downtime period. Might be the perfect time to make a killer Wefunk Speedrodel.

thanks buddies!!!
i can feel how the knee is getting better from day to day.
still i can only bend it slightly over 90° but walking works pretty good.
so i´m taking walks with my son, he riding his board holding my hand.

also i put up a new design in the spreadshirt shop on my site, e.g.:

inspired by the graphic i put on my sons 3ply deck:
