Here is to a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all. I hope that you each enjoy the holiday with friends and family, share good food, beverage and conversation, and recharge the soul.

With any luck, our weather will hold, and the northern crew will get a chance to polish our skills in anticipation of the upcoming midwest series. Skate em if you got em!

Peace,

The turkeys are actually raped first with stuffing, then put into the oven.

All the best,

Well, I'm not from Germany, but I am of German lineage so I think I can speak with some authority on this matter. I believe that in Germany July 4 follows July 3 just the same as in other parts of the world.

Donald,

You don't have Thanksgiving, we don't have reunification day, but both are similar in nature, honoring milestones in history and providing opportunities to overindulge in all sorts of ways.

I did notice that at least you guys keep the stores closed. Over here, the holiday seems to becoming just another day off for shopping. I managed to find some time to skate instead!

Tod's NOT swearing

Actually it's not your voice (not that I would recognize it anyway). It is the announcer naming off the group of 8, and you moved up.
