Greetings from the Great White North, eh!

Heading to SD Feb.2-9 and am contemplating taking along some slalom gear. Any sessions slated or anyone interested in showing a Canuck skater what the local slalom/DH scene is all about?

Gosh. Just talking about slalom skating, sitting amongst all this snow, is a buzz...

If you don't email people directly, try posting in the Calif/Hawaii "regional forums" on Silverfish. There's a very active slalom community in San Diego and I'm sure you'll find either something going on or skaters willing to make a day at Pumpstation, Loretta or Clairemont HS.

Thanks very much Erik. I'll check out those forums today. Many thanks!

Lucky indeed Mig. And if I can run half as clean and fast as you do, I'll be even luckier!

Will send some pics just to torment you! ;)

Thanks gents!

I've connected with the San Diego Chain Gang and will be joining them for a run next Friday night. Really looking forward to the ride! Would be great to get out to the Pump Station on Sunday too if there is anything going on. Will have to wait and see on that one.

No matter: eluding cones instead of snow drifts will be a nice change wherever things end up!
