Chicken,
I figured I would go to the source with this question. While practicing at Trade Street last Sunday, I managed to cut one of my BRAND NEW 84's. The cut is mid-wheel, about a 1/4 inch long & deep. Is it toasted?
On another related note, I would like to commend your wheels. Richy recommended them so highly that I was hooked. One thing he told me was that they were smokin fast with total control. Absolutely true.
The wheels give you a total feeling of command. Not like I remember when we used to run the RR4's & K-tonic's back when. At full speed Sunday, I pushed a bit hard around a cone at mid-course, I began a four wheel drift and for a flash I thought was gonna be beef city. However as Richy said, the wheels snapped right back under me. It was such an awesome feeling that I let out a huge yell and continued on at full speed.
You have a truly awesome product. I intend to put them on the podium at the Red Clay.
Thanks, Marty
