Skennet + Skandal = TS and HS?

Im basically wondering what the topic says.

I'm gonna buy a skennet and a skandal. I'm wondering if it will work on both tight and hybrid slalom paired with 66mm zigz. I'm pretty sure it will work incredible good on TS, but i'm more hesitant about the HS. to narrow hangers and too small wheels? What do you think guys and gals?

I'm pretty much a newb still, even though i've been slaloming for one year. (Nothing serious) Gonna use it for outlaw races, casual slalom with other skaters and maybe a real race.

EDIT: I'm considering an Airflow if that will make the ride better. Thoughts?

Don't worry, it will work fine, either Skennett & Skandal or Skennett and Airflow. None of them are too narrow for HS. Try the gear out, ride it for a while in the various courses. Come back and let us know how it goes.

Dunno if you're sarcastic, but if you are: Isnt that the point of these forums? Asking?

I agree with Steve, and having some 70mm and/or 73mm wheels in different duros is not a bad idea. I'd aim to carry 62/66/70/75 or 62/68/73/77 eventually, 3-5 duros in each diameter.

You could skate almost any course with those.

You may also should have 5-10mm of spacer adjustment on your Skennet/Skandal axles.

Use 'em at 95mm and 106mm for TS, 100mm and 106/111 for HS, even 100mm and 116mm for GS. but experiment with all settings and wheel combos until it FEELS the best/fastest to you for a given course.

Sk8 on!

Yeah. My answer was not meant for you. I totally agree on that asking here should be the absolutely best option. The knowledge base of the users here should be more than enough.

I think Donald was being straightforward with his comment. Sk8kings has links to contact everybody on their team as well as a couple of applicable forums on their site. It's commonly known that they go the extra mile to help people out with advice and setups. Who better to advise you on your gear than the place you're getting it from, especially when it's Richy Carrasco?
