We now invite monthly site sponsors for 2008

Every month paid will give you one vote in the community for the site and for ISSA. Use this opportunity NOW to participate in the elections coming right up!!

Company or club votes are welcome but will be in the name of the person behind. Although previous sponsors are most welcome it would also be good to invite new montly sponsors to sign up. Unless (until) otherwise decided by the board of directors the ISSA membership and site sponsorship both gives you 1 vote. You can accumulate up to a maximum of 5 votes. To avoid chaos during the next voting round, we may have to have a cut off date as to when and how late new members can join and thus influence the election. I'll leave that up to the BOD and primarily Wesley Tucker who will coordinate the election process.

Current hosting costs are approximately $20 per month, so the monthly sponsorship gives a small surplus that can be used for other things that the ISSA and its board decides to use it for.

I'm not taking any reservations like last year, just paypal me with a note as to which month you want to sponsor, and I'll put you into the month that you ask for. Reservations, in this topic, are only possible if you live in France or Sweden in which case I'll provide you alternative, less costly, alternatives to sign up.

Many thanks for your support of this site and the ISSA!

For next year (2009) nobody should be able to take more than 1 month. And I think a good idea is to make the highest bid win. ;-)

I feel somewhat singled out.. ;)

He, he. :-) Sorry for that. I just think it's such an honor doing this so we should at least give 12 "persons" the opportunity.

Or why not have 2 "persons" per month?

Also I think the forum sponsoring should be personal ones. Not brands or associations. Brands and associations are better suited for something like the http://www.slalomranking.com where the opposite is normal. No personal sponsors, only brands or associations.

And there's no one single out there... ;-)

And by the way. How did a Roller skating association manage to hack our forum to become a site sponsor?
