Thank's for your kind words, Don.

My work was put aside for a few days and my family didn't see me much the last two evenings. But, I remain committed to the forum and what has to be done, has to be done.
There's no way around that. Also we cannot leave the pleasure of success to hackers.

It was a bit harder than I expected, mostly due to the volume and the extent of the damage. There were quite a few areas where I had to do manual changes, one by one, so it took much longer than I had expected. (it also made the process a bit more risky).

I hope the new version has better protection and less security holes, thus making the forum harder to hack.

But there's only one hacker safe solution - regular backups.

THanks from here Jani. I know how much it means to leave the familiy behind, the kids grow even in one day...................

Death to hackers....................how stupid that is..............destroying a forum. How poor they must be.

Let´s move on.
