2005 Georgia State Champion

Post by Rick Stanziale » Mon May 02, 2005 1:13 pm

Many moons ago, the World Longboard Slalom Skateboard Championships in Folly Beach, South Carolina inspired me to start running the Georgia State Slalom Skateboard Championships, which due to the regional, national, and even international, nature of the field of competitors, was more appropriately renamed, The Red Clay Cup.

However, here in Georgia, we have continued to crown a state champion, the fastest resident of Georgia at the Red Clay Cup, and this year that title goes to one fast mofo'.......

Hey thanks!

Awesome comeback on Friday night Noah!

Rick - Noah said it best, RCC05 was one for the history books. I'm proud and happy to have been a part of it all.....

Martay - if you continue to ride your skateboard down big hills dodging strategically placed cones at high speed until you reach the bottom in the same manner you've exhibited in the past few weeks, we'll be crowning a new state champ next year.

Congrats to you Georgia Tom! You are class act! Thanks for making me feel welcomed on your turf! You, 66, and Marty all tore it up along with all of the out of town staters that came in.

Next year I am looking forward to watching the battle between you for the Georgia State Championship!
