Marion,

I love playing navigator!

From Statesville to Bogart is about 240 miles. Take I-85 through South Carolina to Commerce, Georgia and then US 441 down to Athens. Bogart is a little west of Athens on US 78. Drive time on the Interstate and the backroads should be about 3-1/2, maybe 3-3/4 hours.

alright Wes, 'fess up...let's see the pics...

Schaub was killing it - I tried to track him down and could not catch up (Thompson, look out!)

WT made it from the top, something many will not at the end of April.

followed up by a session at the skate park, damn right it was a good day

Trade Street session today was very cool. Had about 6-7 skaters show and five made serious efforts at dropping in and running this course. La Costa boy Marty Schaub showed up and ran cones for the first time in many years. He took the course clean on his first run and got faster every run after that.

After a good three-hour session on the hill, Rick wanted to show me the new Skate Park Of Athens where the Old School Jam will be held after the Red Clay Cup on Sunday

Wes,

Thanks for posting the pics. I finally got to show my Georgia native wife what I did when I was 15 - 18. She really had no clue....Somehow Trade Street ain't the same as kick-turns in the driveway.
