I have now reached the age of 16. Probably the most boring, and irritating time of you life. I have a job, which is about 2 miles away from where so I have to get a lift with one of my parents at 9.00 on sat and mon, which is annoying because they have stared asking for 'petrol money'. I also like going to Brighton to slalom, because it’s the only place you don’t get kicked out of, to basketball practice and basketball games. So in all I spend about £10 just paying my parents to ferry me to place-to-place. I have the choice of getting a moped/scooter but then I will be portrait as a 'CHAV' if anyone has heard of the expression. I also have the choice of getting a 50cc aprilla RS50, which are expensive. My point is,

I don’t want a moped because they are boring and make one constant noise that can drive you insane

I want an aprilla RS50 motorbike which cost about £2000, which will take me about 6 months to save up.

And in 6 months I will be 17 and be able to drive!!!!

What should I do? And what did you guys do??

You're only 16 and need a ride? Skate! You said it's only 2 miles away. What's more fun then getting turns in on the way to work?

For having to shuttle you for a 2-mile-trip your parents should charge you triple gas money. Man, skate, walk, bike, run there.

2 Miles...........I don´t get it.
basketball, skateboard, what else? You seem to be sportive............

2 miles?! On a bicycle that would only take about 7-10 mins depending on traffic. Plus it will make your legs all nice and strong for skateboarding.

I think nothing of skating, walking, or riding my bike 8 or 9 miles.

as everyone has already said....get their under your own feet. biking is a breeze and longboarding there is nothing either.

i can do 8 miles on my longboard in a pretty easy 45 minutes while going uphill so i think you should be able to do 2 miles in no time

For 2000 euros you can get a moped, for $250 you can get a foam pps, it'll feel like a dream under your feet (fast and smooth) get you where ever you need to go plus you'll have an incredible GS ride.

I used to ride to the gym by bicycle (it's near 40 miles from me) and felt really good with it, it was something like cross-training)
As for now, I pump to school near 4 miles every morning, and I find it really nice.
Oh, what i was speaking about? You don't have to worry about anything. Buy a bike and feel free)
