"Where is that location"? is a question I frequently see in forums about skateboarding, also on slalom forums.
I've started to identify the spots I know (in the Netherlands, and also in Brussels) but maybe you can start your own list of spots in your area.
It's a great way to let people know where you skate, so it's easier to meet.
How it works:
1-make a account at http://mail.google.com (Gmail)
2-log in at http://maps.google.com
3-drag the map to the country where you live and zoom in via the slider bar
4-choose "My maps", "make a new map"
5-give it a logical name, like: "Dutch slalom locations"
6-type the street
7-if necessary, choose one of the found locations at the left
8-choose "save in my maps" and type a description, like how to get there by public transport, "OK"
Click the button "save".
Place the link to your maps in your e-mail signature for an easy exchange to others and -last but not least- place the link on this forum, under your country.
An example: Dutch locations
Note that everyone can use this information (as long as your map is public); it's not necessary to have a Gmail account to view the locations.
