The third issue of Slalom! is now up.

1987 was quite a busy year for slaloming. With the Czech summer camp taking over from the Swedish and the European Championships being held in Täby, Sweden, organized by Jani Söderhäll, Hans Corky Koraeus and Martin Willners slalom was getting a bit more attention than in the previous years. Paul Price, UK, places 9:th overall and José de Matos, France, takes top honours in the overall slalom (covering the 3 events).

For the first time skaters from USSR contributes to Slalom!

Italy wakes up again and returns to slalom after being away since 1982, all thanks to Gianluca Ferrero.

I have now posted the fourth issue.

It took some time but hopefully no 5 shouldn't be too far away. All pages have been scanned and PC PAL's web designer and World Champion flatland freestyler Stefan "Lillis" Akesson puts together the pages whenever he has a spare moment. He then sends them over to me for the final touch.

No 4 was published in early 1988 and Gianluca continued his presentation of the Italian slalom scene. German slalomer Axel Kleinhans won the CS Open in Brno, Czechoslovakia ahead of the best Czech slalomers Ivan Rohanek and Tomas Fiala. Other participants from abroad were German top rider Mike Ernst and Slalom!'s UK correspondant Frank Wheeler as well as a whole team from Bulgaria.
