Sadly, but true, Face Dancer's lead singer Carey Kress, who lived in Gaithersburg passed away on Tax Day 2009(4/15) and today, a longtime friend of mine, skateboarder Chris Cowtown Renner passed away......both these guys died from pancreatic cancer. I met Cowtown way back in the early 80s skating Lansdowne. He did the Baltimore skatezine Cowtown Chronicles while I did DC's YoZine! May they both rest in peace!
