DC Outlaw session schedule

by Brian Parsons
In preparation for the Dixie cup I am proposing some P&R sessions.

Sunday October 1st - P&R tight
Sunday October 15th - P&R tight
Saturday or Sunday October 28-29 John D is not able to make it for a Landsdown session however if you guys want to just session Landsdown or the Arlington Park tis weekend that would be coo, or we could hit the P&R again.

This will be in addition to our occasional Friday night Walker sessions.

I think WesE is back from his gig as bouncer for the Mid-Atlantic Midget Mud Wrestling team. Hopefully he has bulked up a little so the head wind at the P&R should not be a problem for him anymore.

So you aren't coming here October 1?

WT,

I’d come, but I’m afraid that I might have the wrong political or religious background!

WT, what is happening Oct 1?

Boswell, you actually made it back from Moscow. Any jail time?

BP, I am down for both days.

Mike,

I'm having an Outlaw in Summerville:

viewtopic.php?t=4237

I've sent some e-mails including to you, but the only one I have (mcohm@netscape.net) comes back as undeliverable. I asked Parsons and anyone else around DC to pass the word.

Ohm, No jail time although I was detained for a little while. A 1000 rubles later I was free to go.

Its great to be back home. You gotta LOVE the USA

Ohm,

Yes, I corresponded with Ms. Bissell. She was looking for cheap air fare and wanted to know how I worked Priceline. She got the deal she wanted and will be in Statesville.

Forget my concern about the race and practice session on October 1. The Town just called this morning and made me change my date BACK TO WHAT I WANTED ORIGINALLY on October 8.

My spot is at the mercy of the Dixie Youth Softball program and they rearranged their tournament schedule. My announcement and info on the race has been updated on all the appropriate website.

Hope y'all can make it in TWO weeks.

BP.The earlier the better for me on Sunday.

If nobody is going to show at the P&R, let's do it at Tysons.

Mike, I guess you, me and Bozwell are the only ones doing slalom in DC these days.

Can we see a show of hands for a P&R race/session on Sunday?

Hey, I've been reading your posts at least :) It's soccer referee season for me. I can stop by around 3:30pm on Sunday. I started skating around my work a few days a week this week. I bring my board on MWF, ride down to the gym, work out for about an hour and ride back to the office. Today I even skated from my house to the train station. I did some pumping at Assateague over the weekend.
I'm taking a vacation day on Monday (no school) anybody up for a session?

Thinking about stopping by, but don't get off work in Bethesda until about 1:15. I'll stop by and, if anyone's there, I'll see you there. If not, I'll catch y'all some other time.

BP, if we do a session on Sunday, I want to do it early and be done by 1pm. Tysons would be good since not enough seem interested. We can give Gilbert directions. It's about the same distance to get to the P&R. Tyson's is faster too. We need faster. YOu can go to Arlington after? Or we go to Arlington at 8am for an hour then to Tysons.

I'm still here, nursing an achilles injury though. :(

Weather is looking iffy for tomorrow.

If it is wet....no skate

If it is not wet. 8am session at arlington. Then around 10am roll over to Tysons and slalom on the fast hill.

Sorry to bail on the P&R. The spot in Tysons is much better if we only have a few people.

Gilbert, come and skate arlington with us then you can follow us to the hill. If there is anyone who needs directions to the Tysons spot give me a call. 703-901-5167.

10-day forecast for Summerville, South Carolina on October 8:

Sun
Oct 8
Partly Cloudy
80°/59°
Chance of rain: 10%

It's looking good for next weekend. Not a drop in the forecast all week with highs not getting over 80.

P.S. Why post here? I'm as much a DC Outlaw as anyone else and I'm having an Outlaw race next Sunday. Therefore, it's a DC Outlaw Session. So, nyah!

Definitely, WT....

You are a DC Outlaw, WT. Unfortunately, I cannot attend as I will be leaving for Seattle next Sunday for 10 days. Come on Outlaws....get down to Wesley's Outlaw race!!!!

I say try for the same plan as last time. Hit the Arlington park around 8-8:30 then P&R around 11 ish.

I am sure Boswell would rather skate the p&r. Due to the foot drag at Tysons.

Who's in?

BP, I think Bos is still in Tennessee sleeping with his relatives. I am down with Arlington but if nobody else is coming, lets hit Tysons.

How was Belgium? Did you skate?

Meet at park around 8:30.

Since it only seems like Ohm, Bos and myself Tysons is the slalom spot.

If anyone else wants to get some. Meet us at Arlington or drop me a line or call and I will give directions.

Where's Wes???

Hey, I'm here, but I can't skate on Sundays that early. I would hit Tysons @ noon or P&R @ 12:30, though, if youz all want to skate then. If not, then maybe some Saturday (not next weekend, though).

Unable to join you...

Wes?? Where you been?? I was beginning to wonder if you were still in this world.

Try to meet us at Tysons in the afternoon on Sunday. I think we would probably be there until around 1:30-2.

Now if we could only find Slappy and LBK we could maybe get the band back together.

Great day at Tysons Training Camp. TTC. Tight and fast. WesE was in the house. A little rusty (his bearings) but he showed.

Dillon, we were thinking of a Banksgiving Banked Slalom Race at Landsdowne. Can we pull it?

Yo Mike!

I just returned from a Seattle/Vancouver,BC work/skate trip and it was a blast. I skated 10 or 11 different skateparks including 3 snakerun parks in Canada, including the oldest skatepark in Canada just known as North Van. Killer snakerun ending in a 7 ft bowl. The locals, Colin and Yves & others were just killing it...great peeps! I will swing by Lans on Sat & check out the concrete repair job there and, yes, a Banksgiving Race looks possible...I'll be in touch! And, btw, I busted some lines for all of you on my skate tour...especially you, Mig!!!!!

Wow John, you know Mig, That dude can skate, BIG TIME!!!!

Now, if I can get off this drunken stupor maybe I can skate tonight, Walker anyone?
