There will be a party at the Blagden warehouse in DC following the opening of GSL. It's either the 10th or 11th of June, will confirm date later. 3 punk bands, food, beer and the usual cast of unusual characters.

Also, the punk band VTR (DC) will be filming a music video at the warehouse on June 18th and 19th. They are using Gwar's blood machine, so you can only imagine....They need as many skaters as possible. Donations of real blood is fully encouraged. Git that sh!t!!!

OK, here's the deal. The grand opening of GSL is saturday JULY 9th. Since the bands have been hired and the word is already out, the JUNE 11th party still stands. And there will be a party on JULY 9th as well. Information was initially hazy, but the clearing shows TWO parties!! WOW!!

I might bake cookies...

Damn! Looks great, guys.

I like the Eastcoastaholic site photos of other parks as well. What exactly is "eastcoastahol," anyway--and where can I get some? ;-)
