Ellena,

I followed the thread you pointed at and read:
John Gilmour wrote:This is NOT on snow...it will be done on carpet.
So, what's the problem with the weather?

Hope you find time to do both: JG's clinic and skate slalom!

Greetings Ellena!
Gilmour was thinking about doing his snowboard clinics indoors way up in Boston or Connecticut starting next week or the week after our Thanksgiving Holiday......as for DC locals running cones this saturday....I am, unfortunately, still recuperating from injury so I will not be doing slalom but perhaps the other DC Outlaws will be around?? I'm sure Vlad & WesE will be up for it. How long will you be in town?

Dammit, I'm moving my stepdaughter into her new house tomorrow :( .
However if we finish early enough I'll head down.
Doubtful, but one never knows.

The clinic is not to be done on snow but is to learn how to quickly and accuirately set the body angles needed for quick success on the snow.

Anyhow- you'll have a great time with the DC guys. I'm in Florida slaloming through Alligators on sea-doos (apparently they can do 70mph)with Mark McCree and his daughter Chrissy tomorrow. Back in Boston after monday.
One good turn deserves another

If the Sea-Doos go 70 MPH how fast do the gators move? This might be very interesting. Keep your eyes peeled for manatees, they don’t move that fast, much like me.
