hey seth, i talked to John Dillon tonight and he said he still needs to get permission from MD park&rec for use of Lansdowne, if we want an 'offical' race.

John also said that LBK wants to just show up and do it outlaw style on that day.

who knows!? just get your costume ready and your boards setup for some carvin' cuz i'm sure something is bound to go down at the Downer on all Hallows Eve!

what's your secret weapon Seth? just keep a good eye on this one!

Brittany - Lansdowne's address is:

3326 Bero Rd.
Lansdowne, Maryland 21227

if you haven't been to the Downer yet you're missing out! go there and take skate a day or two and you'll be hooked! you will be skating the 2nd oldest park in the country!

You already know I’ll be there, but yes, I confirm it now.

It is included on the DC race calender, so I assumed many people were planning to be there. But I guess attendence could be in question.

Just to keep accuracy in this topic, the race is THE DAY BEFORE halloween, Oct 30th.

See you there (YEAH!).

Boswell,
That's a hilarious typo. I thought about putting it in quote of the day, but decided against it.

I'm still cracking up, tho... :D

Gravity Team Rider, Cabbage, defends his bank slalom record once again by taking 1st place at today's Lansdowne Bank Slalom Race 10/30/2004. Ohm was pushing hard and was close behind. And as always, Parsons is a threat be it in tight slalom, giant slalom, or bank slalom.

By the way, John Dillion has dedicated a huge safety cone as the "Lansdowne Victory Cone". Winners names will be placed on the cone to document this and future races and dates. John will periodically bring out the cone to declare races at his discretion. Maybe the crowed could talk him into running another race in the spring.

Podium Results (complete results to be posted soon)

1st Cabbage
2nd Mike Ohm
3rd Brian Parsons
