To my DC and NY slalom freaks. Would you guys travel for a sick private Park Slalom Race /pool JAM, TS slalom race in Rye NH sometime this summer? I would like to host the race but want to get some feed back on intrest first. The Place rocks and can be rented for a few hours easy. Weather is not a factor and the parking lot has sweet new pavement for a ts race. TK

TK, count me in. How about an all around park/slalom contest. Maybe throw in a little surf contest. Stoked!

Bring the noise. The surf has been off the scale as of late. The park is sick. There is plenty to do here. I will look at the contest calender and see what weekend looks good.T

I would consider it- but the drive is pretty far for me. I would have to break the drive up into two legs- perhaps stop for dinner in Peabody Mass. Anyone up for splitting the drive with me?- Keeps it from being that boring endless drive I tend to get a little weary about 1/2 way through anyhow. If you split gas I'll supply the No-Doz. Tolls are on me.

Rye Airfield is killer.

JG, you forgot to mention putting milage on your car. Also it may be too hot/too cold for you. The surface was not lazer leveled then poured with 1000 grade pure peruvian asphalt. They do not sell your brand spring water. Also Tag Huer will not be suppling the timing systems so the times will likley be all wrong and some kid on a lazer scooter will post the fastest time thus distorting the bracketing. Luca will not be there so we will never know if the winner really is the fastest. I am however working on Bussing in spectators from the nearby Old folks home, so we will at least have spectators. I'd be there, though I am less interested in riding a park per-say than racing.....

If I find a good airfare, I'm there.
Anyone to split ticket cost with me?

I'd like to be there, but I'd be less interested in slalom racing and park riding than eating lobster, per say. (Or even per se. It just depends.)

I'm even interested in this one (per say)

Been skating roundwall for almost as long as I've been riding hills.

Sorry 13. Hey if you want to run cones today at around 3:30, I'm free. The weather is outstanding. It will be the first time running slalom in many moons. I'm starting to get the fever again. Maybe we can bong the farm hill a few times then set up a tech course on Mich. Ave. Give me a buzz if yous got some free time.

I'd be there, though I am less interested in slalom racing and the riding a park thing, but the blow me part sounds interesting per-say...

Tway how can I get directions to that Port Gibson, MS monster hill? Your brother maybe? Got a nice downhill set up now and I'm ready to bong a big hill.

Hmmm, oral sex and lobster, huh? So I guess it's fair to say the weather won't be much of an issue for this event?

TK, My vote would be for a slalom race on the scale of DaFarm and either a park-slalom event or just a couple of fun sessions at the park. How far is your house from the Airfield? How about July 26 (the Saturday after LaCosta) weekend for this? If not, maybe BrianP would change the date of one of the two DC Outlaw races close to this (July 12 & Aug 2) and you could have it then.

I think this is the most hilarious thread on this forum. Based on humor level divided by number of posts. Excluding this and the preceding post.

Do it on the LaCosta weekend , Terry, to follow the fEast Coast traditions.

Vlad.

i'd like to tag along for this day of lobster, cones and bowls

...but for the love of all things good, will the yankees (U R 1 chris) please stop using southern dialect unless one can spell "y'all" correctly!

it is a contraction of "You All"... ergo, therefore: "Y'all" "ya'll" is just plain wrong per se. (also the proper spelling of that as well)

keeping it real Greensboro, NC style...

I dont' know but some of this stuff is scary considering it's an a male event so far.

Hey, Gilmour if you want to just fly up here we can drive down together. Other then customs there is only one toll booth.Anything between mid-June and early August I'm booked.

So I hope you guys have a good time. See you all at the G3, I hope.
