What the H3LL is up with DC slalom?

Post by Rene Hayden » Tue Feb 15, 2005 4:09 pm

Hey my outlaw peoples!

Is DC slalom officially dead now or just waking up from a long winter nap? No sessions no postings....

Did everyone fall down go boom on the slopes and hurt their typing fingers?

Is this what happens when the Gambles stop showing up?

Is there some sort of a boycott of the forum for some reason?

Did somebody sleep with someone else's sig other?

Did Vlad drink all of Slappy's beer?

And what about the outlaw series....

On actual DC *slalom* topics, there's been more crickets here than in a reptile zoo, especially from los vatos.

Can somebody please clue me in, here? or at rehayden at that free microsoft email that starts with hot, dot com.

Rene

It won't be long until the slalom stoke will be back. The Daffodils are getting ready to bloom and the Spring Peepers are peeping

We are all still hear.

I have been busy with some other things this winter. Like trying to build a race car out of a piece of crap MG. I now know why it makes sense to make the new Turners in England. We don’t slalom in the rain or in the dark.

LBK just added a new addition to his family. He gets a pass.

Geezer is working on the new space shuttle launch. It is going to have precision axels.

WesE has been busy making a movie called Napoleon Dynamite.

KMG is developing a new slalom wheel that works on wet pavement.

As for Vlad…If you had a girlfriend that looked like Victoria and a broken ankle what would you be doing this winter? Enough said.

John D. is wooing the ski bunnies with his jibbing style.

Slappy has been fighting with the Fidel about the new slogan of his cigar company. For some reason the dictator thinks “rolled on the thighs of Cuban virgins” is inappropriate.

I also have been working on my new skateboard company TWT.

Okay! good to see everyone wasn't kidnapped, eaten, or flogged by Saint Nick (that's what friendly Santy did for 18th c. German kids)--I was kind of wondering there for a while.

Second question: Is *anybody* interested in the Fountainhead AC/DC thing, 'cause we have to lay down a schedule, and if there ain't going to be slalom, then we should just throw the sesh right over to the adrenaline freaks.

And what the frick has Bozi been up to? haven't seen/heard from that guy for aaaaaages.

Rene.

Slappy's in line down at the free clinic for a dose of Valium and Zoloft so he can deal with no NHL this year.

Yes, it's true, Slappy is on drugs. And they are not prescription drugs.

The 1919 shoulddahappen it in 1994, then we wouldn't have the 2005.

Bad for the US and Canada, good for other countries. Some of their stars are playing back home along with the US players. I'm sure Slappy's watching when he's not shootn.

Rene, as long as your GS thingy is 5.5ft straight downhill 80-cone-or-so course with young boys and girls in tights resetting the cones after some amature out-of-towner hits them, we'll be there. We'll be there even if there's a usual boring thing. Damnit.

i just posted this in the ac/dc thread but here me out this next season is one of the biggest slalom has seen in years, from what ive read. So lets help our boys with the AC/DC race.

oh crap please let this be the first of many fun runs for the dc/baltimore year. i want to run gs because i have a gs board, i want all you guys there, it will be fun, and sh*t, it will be a good way to start the season. lets all support this for a first fun way to start things. brian, ohm, vlad (if you can), john dillon(again if you can), Wes E, all the younge guys , seth, nino and all come on guys we can do this. im gonna drive from baltimore to where ever this is. you guys have all helped me so much in my newness to slalom, id love to see you all there. i mean i still owe mike and brian for my bushings, which helped my racing so much plus i might have an axe by then. come on lets do this.

And you know what? lets take this one more step. lets do a 5 dollar entry fee that all goes towards green skate lab, i missed the party, but lets keep it up, these guys need us , and those of us who do more then wiggle down a street, we ned this park, vans is done we need somewhere to skate tranny, so lets make it all good for all. SK8 OR DIE!!! no mater how you skate!

Slalom in car....

Post by John Dillon » Fri Feb 18, 2005 6:01 pm

Hey, I was doing slalom last night after the snowsquall....dodging cones and driving around wrecked cars, trucks,SUVs(yes, they aren't invincible on ice) on I-70 returning from snowboarding at Whitetail...it was crazy.....lots of carnage.....the snow on the slopes was awesome, though. I made some turns for you,Vlad, as did Todd,Jombu,& Chris.
