[PVD] PVD bushings are in.

Post by Terry Kirby » Fri Feb 14, 2003 3:59 am

I ran into Peter Verdone at Rye Airfield and he showed me a batch of new bushings for the R2 trucks. Durometers are from 82a to 94a in 2 durometer point increments. The bushings are custom poured high rebound urethane. TK

Both Brent Kosick and myself ran the newer Yellows this weekend at the Saturday practice. We both had the initial feeling that the older Green seemed better urethane. For me the 94a in newer Yellow seemed much softer and with less rebound than a 94a in Green. Using the Green I typically don't use a 94a in the back. But with the yellow even in 94a it felt a bit soft for me. Same with the other duros in Yellow, softer all around.

Green is better.

Did more testing between the older Green and newer Yellow over the past few days.

Green definately has better rebound. Yellow is not bad, but Green feels much better to me.

On a side note: Avila's are nice wheels
