Tway,
can you offer a short description of Derby Hill? It's hard to vote when I have no idea where Derby Hill is and what it's like.
Thanks.

Hey, crowd. Fantastic time at Magnolia. Thanks, TK, Glen, and everyone else who spent so much time setting courses. TK, next time you just need to ride more, and spend less time doing logistics. I love watching you skate. Bryan, Karl, it was great hanging with you guys. You're both rad dudes. (Rad i...

Dudes and Dudetts,
I'll be there tomorrow with my pathetic slalom skills and a 9 volt battery.
And I agree with TK....the spot is SWEET.

I get where you're coming from, JG. I completely understand most of the factors taken into consideration in the design of a field or area in which a contest/sport is to take place. However, I am wondering if the start method might not be best determined not so much by the "field" in which slalomers ...

We are horses!
Hey, isn't this the way that dog races and horse races begin?? But I suppose that track races, swim races, and many other Olympic race-oriented events begin with a single sound-signal where no build up or countdown is provided. I say don't even let the racers know that there is any amount of seconds...

The pavement was pretty dry for most of the time. Though it may not have been worth it to set up cones since it was always uncertain if the sky was going to just open up and pour. If you can get to the Gathering, then go! It will be awesome. I can't make it this year, but I had a blast last year.
On another note, I am going to do my best to get the 8th or 9th open so that maybe some of us in MA and NH can get together and skate.
Let's try and make it happen!
