Brad, no trick....just muscle it, find your rhythm, and commit to the turn. Once you've run a few courses, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Gets easier the more you do it. Since your a beginner, you really should start with the cones spaced farther apart than how Wesley described. Maybe 7...

Rick - I like what gary said. keep it simple. Maybe set a different course course for each (quals and outlaw gs)....to keep it interesting.

When does the sun set in late April? 7-7:30ish? Would ups trucks be a problem if we started earlier on friday?

I don't think Mitchell raced in '03. He went from mid-pack at Luna to World Champ in a matter of six months! Amazing....

Steve - I like your concept with one exception; I think it should remain a 2 push(max) start. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the original concept to determine how fast you could propel your skateboard on a flat surface via PUMPING? And I agree with Wes about coming up with a set start distance....
