yo siX you know if i wasn't strapped i'd be down there. light one up, drink a pabst, and swallow a sword for me. needless to say, there was no sword swallowing......there was a wakeup call that slalom speeds rarely exceed 30mph (super g in morro bay the one that may have qualified as 30mph+) speeds...

Corky - don't apologize! The World Rankings may do more to promote slalom skateboard racing than any other single effort! We now have a resource the media can refer to before a race, something that was lacking before (sure we have SS.com, but it can be a b*tch to wade through the posts, and NCDSA......

Groups of 8 are extremely competitive. Groups of 16 may be viable at events with over 75 racers. Jack's plan of top 8 bye, bracket 9 - 24, may be even better (especially since it's announced in advance).

We don't have near the talent pool to field 1 vs. 32, let alone 64 (yet).

I think it could be helpful to look at the registered racers before deciding on the exact cutoff for A/B (C and beyond someday). And as far as A Class skaters appearing in B Class brackets...........each individual could declare as an A Class or B Class before qualifying. If you declare as an A Clas...
