Arlington...Sunday??? Killer early morning session last Sunday. All the DC standouts were killing it. They allowed a total fat boy like me to get a few runs.
I would even be up for a Fountianhead session if anyone would be so inclined.

Anthony and crew put on a killer downhill race today. It is absolutely amazing seeing packs of 4 guys screeming toward a drifting corner at what I guess was close to 45-50 MPH. I rode my slalom setup and could not hold it from the top of the hill it was just to hairball with speed wobbles out of the...

Hey Guys, check out the link on silverfish for this race. It has really exploded in popularity and there will be a sizable field competing. The hill seems to be plenty safe enough for non-down hillers. Not nearly as life threatening as Fountainhead. Limited traffic. But still downhill fast. Totally ...

Where have you been
Wes?? Where you been?? I was beginning to wonder if you were still in this world.
Try to meet us at Tysons in the afternoon on Sunday. I think we would probably be there until around 1:30-2.
Now if we could only find Slappy and LBK we could maybe get the band back together.

Plan
Meet at park around 8:30.
Since it only seems like Ohm, Bos and myself Tysons is the slalom spot.
If anyone else wants to get some. Meet us at Arlington or drop me a line or call and I will give directions.
Where's Wes???

Its on
I say try for the same plan as last time. Hit the Arlington park around 8-8:30 then P&R around 11 ish.
I am sure Boswell would rather skate the p&r. Due to the foot drag at Tysons.
Who's in?

Weather is looking iffy for tomorrow. If it is wet....no skate If it is not wet. 8am session at arlington. Then around 10am roll over to Tysons and slalom on the fast hill. Sorry to bail on the P&R. The spot in Tysons is much better if we only have a few people. Gilbert, come and skate arlington wit...

Any DC slalom racers thinking about making this race. Ashland is I think about 6-7 hour drive from DC. But this race might be what we need to get over not racing at LaCosta. Where is Dave Gale, WesE and John Dillon these days. I noticed Marc and Ben B are on the sign up. Both of these guys have made...

Everyone at the farm asked about Wes.
My guess is he is on tour this summer playing mandolin for the Marshall jubilie.
or...
Maybe he is doing the PBR tour.
or...
he could still be cage fighting.
maybe a mission in Africa. what was it Vlad was doing down there?

Ohm, I cant do Friday night but would be really into a sunday session at either Tysons or the Arlington Park. The farm was a blast this year. It helped me get my stoke back a little. What do you guys think about an outlaw series exclusively at fountianhead this winter? Both slalom and downhill. Date...

Ohm, what about doing the next DC outlaw on the 15th then cruising down to Statesville on the 22nd. WT has defiantly raised the bar. The dude was faster than me all during practice. I had to scam a different set up from Bozwell just to be in the game. I would get to the last 10 cones and just have t...

Great day skating Fountianhead. Ohm and Boswell cleared the entire hill so it gave us a little more space for some bigger offsets and more cones in the upper part of the hill. Beleive it or not but both Ohm and I were wanting more speed. I had to take a couple of runs on my downhill board. Its not q...

So Ohm, any details. everything still look scary.
What do you guys think of doing sort of a stage slalom race. Three single lane events. Hybrid,GS and downhill and combine the times to determin the winner.
Just an idea.

Hey Anthony, let me know when you guys ride Rock creek again. I wanted to come an skate the last time. But I just...

What a great day on Saturday. Very laid back and the only big ego was my own that John Dillon easily crushed. It was great seeing all the new faces and to see young kids charging courses with style. This event was in the tradition of the first couple of Gatherings. Very non-intimidating and fun for ...

WT, you should be ashamed of yourself. You had that big hill and you still put those cones in a straight line. Open that $%^# up and use that hill. NCL is a newbie and you make him skate that wimpy straight stuff. Come on. Where are the offsets, where are the off center, flowing, carving fast turns....

I can't believe how corrupt DC is. To be the most important city in the world it is a real shame that the city can not manage its public infrastructure and responsibilities. Unfortunately to resolve this it would require pro bono work, and finding any law office that would take on a case against any...
