Yes. DH race in the Laurentians, north of Montreal. Was planned a long time ago and it's one of the nicest local ones of the season. You have even been called out on the Montreal forum for doing it the same day... LOL! Danilo is working on the 26th, Pierre's girlfriend will be giving birth anyday a...

Anybody want to split a suite at the conference center - really the only way I can afford to go. I need to stay at least the night of June 30th, possibly the first too if people are going to hang around for 7/2 activities. Also - what is the cross street with Dovercourt...I need to print myself some...

Chad - good stuff from a different perspective. I hear you, and I think the regional/local race series idea solves some of those problems. Race locally for less money against others with similar equipment and "get your feet we" (i.e. get hooked?) and maybe even beat a few people....keep going to ser...

NESRA's ramps are not "big ramps" in my book. At five feet high and with longboard friendly pumpable trannies, they are pretty much the perfect ramps for open events. Fast enough to make a slow spot fun for fast riders, not high and steep enough to scare away total noobs, and longboard compatible f...

My experience has been that speed and big ramps will not turn off new riders - we had at least 4-5 "never raced" at our NESRA GS/SG/DH and they all killed it...SL/TS prob would have been more of a challenge for them, and maybe a turn off. Granted, they were all good skaters before the race, but that...

Not my problem if racers didn't join before Texas, and nobody there collected - what are we, children? That's beside the point anyway, and I understand the rest of what you outline. I thought you had to join ISSA to compete in sanctioned events. But now you can compete and then join retroactively? That doesn't seem right. Copied here from the Grenoble topic where we shouldn't discuss general status handling... Unfortunately the organizers cannot reply with a clear answer, as the new ISSA nomenclature is not being assured by ISSA or the EU Status Mashales. "Main" equivalent I'd say, probably "National". /Jani Thanks ...
