All I can say about the rea truck since riding the Novasid this year is that the extra stability and power you generate from a rear suspension (type) truck is unmatched in a regular truck. I'm not saying the Novasid is any better. I've never tried the others to this point. I'm just saying that since...

I agree with both Andy and Mike. It is not nescesary to mark your parctice courses. I've slalomed since the early 70's and only started marking them this past year and a half. This was mostly to practice different course components. You can run pretty straight or regular offset type courses without ...

Well some of the local neibourhoods here have enen gone through some of the "hockey on the street battles" an it sucks. That, however is society nowadys. As far as the "Pepsi" thing in the Van arera in the 70's. I'm assuming these are the same people that ran Expo and everything else I got to compet...

Great work Tway. I'm not sure what the cost difference would be or what each (work time)would cost but for the 2o or so sold units an upgrade would likely be best for them. A newer system 3 would also be a great follow up. Then entire idea is certainally worth the work and I hope Grass can grow and ...

I took 2 runs on Maurus Storbles board at Cambria. They are nice boards. I'm not sure what model I rode but it sure did feel good. Very, very pumpable board. It is tottaly different then my Roe BottleRocket wich will likely only be replaced by another roe model. I think if you want a complete quiver...

You could have a gilmorian curve as part of a GS course if wanted too for training. I wouldn't expect to see it in any race, however. The use of the S type Gilmorian curves are very important. You learn the skill going both sides and crossing the fall line both ways as well. If you have one. You won...

Thanks neil, the skaters have a point. What the politicians have to understand is that it should be treated like a real sport. Would they put soccer field, baseball diamomd or tennis courts there? They have to stop hidding skate parks in corners. It's been a tough deal tryingto get municipalities to...

What can you say. You really got to ride one to appreciate the feel. I can't wait till I can complete my quiver. Cones, cones and more cones. Fast, faster and fastest. Dat's it dat's all. If there is an attempt to try organise a World record attempt day then perhaps Brain's competition day could be a qualifier. It's really too bad about the crap. Even good intentions can be misconstrued. I'm really surprised at the attitudes displayed by some (socalled) Slalom supporters. Brian, first of all sorry about the injury. Iknow where your coming from. 4 knee surgeries and a few other part repaired. I would suggest a bike. You can pick up a recumbent exersixe bike for 200 or so. It will work your muscle and not do any load bearing damage. Make sure you have enough bend in yo...

So what would you call course that had 7 technical sections to it. Features almost everything you could pissobly see at a race. 5' centers, 5.5' offsets, hips, g-...

All the above mentioned ideas are great. Although the majority of skateboarders are "kickflipers" many of them will be in and out of the sport within a couple of years. Just like many over the last 25 years. As we've seen many OldSchoolers are coming back and enjoying themselves. Part of skateboardi...
