Also,
Its only ONE single push right? Not as many pushes as possible in the 5 meter start? Your foot must be INSIDE the 0.5 meter box but the board can be anywhere right?

Vlad, How about you give this 30 cone, 5.5ft spacing thing a name (ncdsa calls their 6 ft, 25 cone deal "cyberslalom"). It would be cool to have a place to post times just like NCDSA has for their cyberslalom. I am interested in giving this a shot over the next few months. How about an initial time ...

I'll just repeat what I just wrote on Ncdsa: "Just tried some new PVD prototype elastomers tonight. Yabadaba-freekin-doo! The only previous drawback to the PVDs was the lack of return to center with the first generation elastomers. First time out on them I broke my personal cyberslalom record and th...

Hi Chris, I am very interested in making at least one trip over to race in Europe this year. Could you describe the courses as compared to the Morro Bay course? Are average cone distances like 4ft apart or somewhere closer to 6ft? Is altitude a factor? What would be an ideal board setup for the cour...

One thing that start ramps do accomplish that a flatland start won't, is that you can clearly see who is up to bat. With a whole bunch of skaters milling around the start area, from a distance (most spectators) it can be hard to determine who is the next guy up. At the FCR races, as the racers get r...

I'm working my way up to 100 cones. 41 cones, 6 ft centers, perfectly flat, rough textured concrete surface, 38 degree temp, 25 ft push start, 11.99 sec (3.42 cones/sec). 4 cones/sec on the flat will be my goal for now. What wheelbases (axle-to-axle) are working for you 100 coners? Mine is 22 3/4" r...

I think a 100 cone would be really cool. Physical conditioning will be key. Gotta have power and concentration the whole way through. I like it. I am thinking it really doesn't matter what cone spacing you have, you still have to move body and board at the same frequency regardless of cone spacing. ...

Seattle area skaters are also interested! It will be a bit difficult to find a 700+ foot hill to set the course on. The media for a given location might find this amusing enough to put on the evening news since it will be an attempt at a world record. This will be tough since I have a hard enough ti...
