WT,
Although it is not regional, you should cross-post to Silverfish Longboarding's forum. They have a Slalom section, and an Events/Sessions section. You might find some recruits there.

The PPS and Bahne completes are both good deals. Much better than getting all the stuff, as long as you like the stuff they're using. I got the E-series Chicken Dagger, and I love it. The mild concave is comfy. The shape is good for my style. I'm still a newb, but hope this setup will last me for a ...

I just read the City Paper article about the Green Lab park and the money donated by Tony Hawk, the Save the Trees outfit and America Online. There are words that accurately describe what the principal and the school administration did with those donations: Fraud Theft Misappropriation Negligence M...

Jani, I overdid it on purpose. That was an illustration (attempting) to show the sillyness of over-regulating things. No b) What should the maximum wheel diameter be? see a Your proposed limit (75mm) would outlaw the following: Gumballs 76mm Strikers 77mm Flywheels 76, 83, 90, 97 In my opinion, there should be very little rules along these lines. Simple is good. Otherwi...

I agree with WesE about “International Association of Skateboard Companies”. Why should they have any influence on how skateboarding is represented in the Olympics? It is fairly simple. In the absence of an organization representing the skateboarders, the association of companies is the only voice....
